Experience
I graduated from State University of New York-Binghamton, where I received a bachelor's degree in Biology. I'm currently enrolled at Stony Brook University's School of Dental Medicine. While enrolled at Binghamton, I participated in a number of organizations and campus clubs. I worked as a tour guide and an assistant teacher in Chemistry. I'm very personable and great at getting along with a wide variety of people. I participated with B.U. Science, where I taught elementary school students science, and I conducted simple experiments with them. I've always done very well in Math and Science. I particularly enjoy tutoring students in math because there's so much to be gained from learning the subject. I find that teaching is as much a learning experience for me as it is for the student. I'm always finding new ways to relate to students and better assist in their growth. I've been lucky to have a lot of amazing educators in my educational career, and I hope to give back to students in the same way my teachers gave to me. I'm skilled in teaching Geometry, Algebra, Chemistry, Biology, Arithmetic, etc. I've worked with students on A.P. and DAT test preparation, as well. I enjoy reading, working out, and hiking.
